It is important to pay attention to your seating posture at the piano. Your back should be straight. The piano stool has to be adjusted to the level of your elbows are being above the keys. The centre of a piano position should be at all the times, even if you are playing on the high or low keys. It is advisable to sit far enough from the keys to allow yourself a space of the hands movement and the comfortable playing. In other words, your posture and position at the piano has to be relaxing, comfortable, and health risk free.

The main challenge of this piece without a doubt would be the independence of Right and Left hand playing triplets against quadruplets. I have used the “minus“ method to work on the problem. “Minus” method is applying to one of the hand, while the other is sounding. You can try to tap one hand and play the other, and swap them around. Also, you can try to play one bar hands together, and to miss one of the hand in the following bar. Continue to practice until you will be able to hear the individual melody line of each hand playing together.

Tap your fingers before playing on the keys. Exercise your 5 fingers around a set of 3 black keys with your right and left hands by placing long fingers on the black keys.
